24/7 Emergency Power

Emergency Generator Hire

When the mains drop, you need power on site and someone accountable for it. Our team is on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with our own fleet, our own electricians and our own fuel.

When it matters

A lifeline, not a delivery

Generators can be a lifeline to those affected by power outages or natural disasters. We have the capacity to provide power in a moment's notice, any time, any day.

An outage is not a hire transaction, it is a clock. Our in-house electricians and generator specialists design the power plan, commission on site, and stay accountable until your operations are back on and stable.

It is a turnkey model built for outages, events and planned works where downtime is not an option: planning, delivery, electrical connection, fuel management, and on-call technicians who get your power back fast.

  • Power-only specialists Not a general hirer with a generator in the yard: this is all we do.
  • One accountable team From the first phone call through to de-mobilisation, it is the same crew.
  • In-house, never subbed Our own electricians, mechanics, fitters, trucks and refuelling.

What happens next

From your call to power on

No triage queue and no handballing. The person who picks up is the person organising your set.

  1. You call, we answer

A real person on the phone any hour of any day, not an after-hours message bank. Tell us the site and what has gone down.

  2. We size it on the call

Our electricians and generator specialists work out what will carry the load now, and what the connection needs to look like.

  3. Dispatch and connect

The set goes out on our own float fleet, and our A-grade electricians make the connection and commission it on site.

  4. We stay accountable

Fuel management, monitoring and on-call technicians until your operation is back on, stable, and no longer needs us.

Support equipment

More than the generator

A genset on its own is rarely the whole job. We hold the gear that gets it onto your site and keeps it running.

  • Refuelling trucks
  • Delivery tilt trays
  • Crane trucks
  • Industrial fuel cells
  • Temporary switchboards
  • Cable ramps and covers
  • Lighting towers
  • Load banks

Sizing

Get the right size

When the power drops there is no time to guess. It is the surge as motors restart that sizes the machine, not the running load. Our calculator works out both, in a couple of minutes.

Emergency questions

Frequently asked

How fast can you get a generator on site?

We hold hire stock in Kilsyth and run our own delivery fleet, and we are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Across Melbourne metro we average a response under 90 minutes. For regional Victoria it depends on the distance, so ring us and we will give you a real time rather than an optimistic one.

What should I have ready when I call?

The site address and access, what has gone down, roughly what needs to stay running, and whether there is an existing generator connection point or change-over switch. If you do not know the load, our team will work it through with you on the call.

Do you connect the generator, or do I need my own electrician?

We connect it. Our A-grade electricians are in-house rather than subcontracted, so the same team that delivers the set commissions it and hands it over running.

Can you supply power after a flood, storm or sub-station failure?

Yes. That is exactly the work we do. We supplied 1,500kVA of temporary power to a Melbourne CBD hospital after a sub-station flood, using three super-silent 500kVA sets with fuel, exhaust and electrical installation.

How long can I keep the generator?

As long as you need it. Emergency hires often start as a few days and turn into a longer arrangement while a permanent repair or upgrade runs. We can move you onto a longer hire term, add fuel management and monitoring, and take it away when the mains are back.
