So the setup is the whole job: change-over gear that transfers cleanly, a set sized for the loads that genuinely have to stay on rather than everything on the board, and a test regime that proves it will carry them.
We supply standby power both ways: on hire, parked on site for a planned outage, a storm season or a switchboard upgrade, and permanently installed with automatic transfer where a site has to hold its own supply. Either way the same in-house crew designs it, connects it, tests it and answers the phone at 3am.

We size it against the loads that have to stay on, connect it through change-over gear, and prove it under load.
Hire suits a defined risk window: a planned outage, a switchboard upgrade, a storm season, a temporary site. Buying suits a permanent obligation, where the generator is a documented part of your business continuity plan. We do both, and we will tell you which one your situation actually calls for.
It can. With automatic transfer gear installed, the load moves across on mains failure with nobody on site. Some hires are set up for manual change-over instead, which is cheaper and perfectly sensible where staff are always there. We will walk you through the trade-off before you commit.
Because it gets tested rather than assumed. We put standby sets on a preventive maintenance program with battery and starting-system checks, fluids, filters and condition monitoring, plus load-bank testing where the site needs proof of capacity. Every visit is documented for your continuity file.
We hold hire stock in Kilsyth and run our own delivery fleet, so metropolitan deliveries are usually same day or next day, and our average metro emergency response is under 90 minutes. We are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
